Very funny game, but it has some bugs, for example enemies sometimes goes through trees, or one moment music just turned off. Also it quite difficult for me, so I haven't completed this game. But despite all this it was really nice experience, thank you!
P.S. It of course my objective opinion, but the characters look more like chipmunks than beavers.

The game just doesn't starts for me
Do you get any error messages? Your antivirus or windows defender may block the game exe. Also check that all files have been downloaded and that the browser has not blocked any files. Also try installing Visual C++ Redistributable. https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe Or you can wait for Steam release if nothing I wrote helps(
